A pure heart can not complaint. Being at ease no matter what comes along is a great gift. It is my day off today, so I took the time to just be in gratitude. Being grateful for being grateful. So, I feel grateful for the gift of being able to feel gratitude. Not because I have this or that, but just because of existence, my existence, all existence. The ALL AND ALL in action, love and pure thought.
Blessings,
Maria
This is such a good idea, first for setting it up and second the concept that gratitude indeed silences complaint. Thank you, Jo.

ReplyDeleteMaryl's challenge to us that we watch for complaining has rippled out from me to a patient that called yesterday. She and I have been working together for some time now and complaining is something we are working on. So, I passed the challenge to her. She called this a.m. laughing because she has had to start over 23 times since yesterday. She had no idea how much negativity she was embracing. Her husband has also taken on the challenge and have passed it to one of their adult sons. Is this not Divinity embracing humanity, humanity embracing Divinity, then humanity embracing humanity. Fun! ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I had to miss Association this year, but I was there in spirit! This is a perfect challenge for me - I am in!
ReplyDeleteI am having such fun with this project!! A verse in the responsive reading of the lesson this morning "Let the lying lips be put to silence" came out loud and clear to me that I can put my trust in God to show me my "complaints" today. My human consciousness is identifiying them, but it is divine Mind that is uncovering the error and healing my thought. Wow, today is going to be great with blessings!
ReplyDeleteThis assignment is helping me. I have a complaint detector running now and I am not always happy with what it is catching. But, it is detecting a negative inner dialogue and transforming it into healing.
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice idea to share with strangers. A woman at a repair facility gave me a lift to my work and I could tell she was having a bad day. I shared the idea of not complaining for 21 days and she liked it, and said she had never thought of doing that before.
Let's make gratitude contagious!
