Effort Day: Strength

Tues Jan 31st

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phil 4:13

Strength and every ability comes from Spirit. What can one not do when Spirit, God, takes over?

Work Day : The Yoke

Mon Jan 30

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Mat 11:28-30

The "yoke", is a point of view, a belief, a perception. It might be heavy, or not so heavy, or not heavy at all...
The comforter lifts it all up and makes it do-able, whatever it is...

Happy Day: LOVE

Sun Jan 29

"Divine Love is infinite. Therefore all that really exists is in and of God, and manifests His love" SH 340:12
Isn't LOVE the main component of our existence, the "thing" that creates and moves worlds?
What it would take to feel and be love, for everything that breaths, even ourselves?

Bright Day; All presence

Sat Jan 28

"The sunlight glints from the church-dome, glances into the prison-cell, glides into the sick-chamber, brightens the flower, beautifies the landscape, blesses the earth." SH 516

The Light of Truth finds its way in us, through us, around us. It is naturally All present and whether we see it or not, it illumines our being...

Fun Day: Expression

Fri 27 Jan
"The depth, breadth, height, might, majesty, and glory of infinite Love fill all space." SH 520:3-5

God sets the tone for each day's expression: Love. No matter where we are, where we go, what's going on or is not going on, Love IS...

Loving Day: The Wings

Thurs Jan 26

"How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings." PS 36:7

What does it take for us to realize that God's sheltering wings will never let us drop?
I am so grateful for His wings!

What a Day! : At Home

Wed Jan 25
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and
I will dwell in the house [the consciousness] of [LOVE] for ever." SH 578:16

LOVE, is the most beautiful, safe, welcoming home! It is free, and it is always there...

Another Day: Direction

Tues Jan 24

"Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way." SH: 454:18

Uncertainty, fear and doubt want some space into our thought;
but a gentle, warm reminder right in the core of our heart,  -LOVE-
dissolves all of it.

New Day: Bliss

 Jan Mon 23
"God's being is infinity, freedom, harmony, and boundless bliss. " SH 481:3
Who does get any better than that?

Any Day: Error, Shush!

"When you silence the witness against your plea, you destroy the evidence, for the disease disappears." SH:417
Truth puts error where it belongs:NOTHINGNESS.
I am grateful for Truth!

Whatever Day : Man

Sat Jan 21

"Man, made in His likeness, possesses and reflects God's dominion over all the earth. "SH
All I am thinking today, is the reflection.
I am that;
I do reflect Him.
That's enough...

Any Day : Light and Darkness

Fri Jan 20

"Spirit and matter no more commingle than light and darkness. When one appears, the other disappears." SH 280:30
Every step of the way leads to the Light. And it is only upwards.
I love the Light!

Day Twenty: Helping Hand

Thurs Jan 19

"Be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. " Is 41
Sometimes we are desperately seeking a lift or some help,  but we don't really know the  who, where, what and how. Yet, Father-Mother God's hand is right there.
I am grateful for God's hand!

Day Nineteen: Witness

Wed Jan 18

" I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he:
ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God."
Is 43
The witness affirms God's majesty and all present Truth.

Day Eighteen:Fear

Tues Jan 17

"Always begin your treatment by allaying the fear of patients. Silently reassure them as to their exemption from disease and danger. Watch the result of this simple rule of Christian Science, and you will find that it alleviates the symptoms of every disease." SH 411: 27-32
We all can be tempted by fear. But what is fear really?
A false witness, a suggestion. Truth uncovers it and makes it disappear...
Yeah!

Day Seventeen: Freedom

Mon Jan 16
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32
The freedom to "be", is a God-given gift.
And it is experienced only by knowing the Truth.
I am grateful for that freedom!

Day Sixteen: The Lift

Sun Jan 15

"Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer; From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Ps 61:1,2
When we feel so lost and we are calling God to come and give us a lift, it is when we realize that all we need to do is to move our consciousness up higher, and let Him take over.
We need move up higher.
I am grateful for the lift!

Day Fifteen: The path

Sat Jan 14

"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy" Ps 16:11

What is my purpose? What is my life about?
What is my path?
Where do you want me to be?
These and more questions arise trying to understand the wonder of Life.
But a smile, a breath, a sweet moment of prayer, all say "I AM your Life and nothing else"...

Day Fourteen: The Light of Life

Fri Jan 13

"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life". John 8:12
So many times I have been lost! But the Christ Truth is showing me the way,    His light dissolves the darkness of fear and doubt when they present themselves.
I am grateful for the light of Life!

Day Thirteen: Alliance

Thursday Jan 12

" Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. " Ps 92:13

I have been holding this prayer in my heart for quite some time.
It conveys an infinite alliance with my God.
I am grateful for this alliance.

Day Twelve: Eternal Youth

Wed Jan 11

"Except for the error of measuring and limiting all that is good and beautiful, man would enjoy more than threescore years and ten and still maintain his vigor, freshness, and promise." SH 246:20
Aging is the monster of our days, but thank God, LIFE declares herself without any human effort.
The ALL 'N ALL existence laughs at the dream and celebrates Her eternal youth!
Yippee!

Day Eleven: Overwhelment

Tues Jan 10

"Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. " Ps 61:1,2
Being overwhelmed is a common feeling of putting ourselves down and resist good.
"But how can I resist good?- I ask - I want good, I am good..."
Then I try to remember that it is just a suggestion of being separate.
God is never overwhelmed.
So I may go to God, and ask to take it from me.
I am grateful it is just a suggestion...

Day Ten: The fountain

Mon Jan 9

"For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light." Ps 36:9
God, Love, is a constant cascade of Life rejuvenating infinitely all Her ideas.
There is no beginning, there is not end.
I am grateful for the ongoing fountain of being.

Day Nine: Glory

Sun Jan 8

Be Thou, O God, exalted high;
And as Thy glory fills the sky,
So let it be on earth displayed,
Till Thou art here and now obeyed.
HYMN 1

Amen!

Day Eight: Fatherwood

Sat Jan 7
"This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Mat 3:17

God loves His creation.
He's absolutely happy with His children.
But we tend to doubt the likeness.
We feel too little...
God says we are His beloveds though, and He is so pleased!

Day Seven: Child-likeness

Fri Jan 6
"Willingness to become as a little child and to leave the old for the new, renders thought receptive of the advanced idea."
SH 323:32-5

It takes courage to forget the "me and my story" and "real-eyes" life.
Kids say:" but it's all about having fun!
I am grateful for child-likeness.

Day Six: The Baptism

Thurs Jan 5

" The baptism of Spirit, washing the body of all the impurities of flesh, signifies that the pure in heart see God and are approaching spiritual Life and its demonstration. "SH 241:27

Every day, we have a new opportunity to live in Truth, since Love washes us clean.
Spirit, opens up new possibilities for each one of us with a new baptism.
Life unfolds infinite chances.
Are we receiving the blessing?
I am so grateful for the baptism.

Day Five: Overflow

Wed Jan 4th

"My cup runneth over." PS 23
There is a constant overflow of Love no matter what our personal story
tries to say.
When we mute the story, "our cup runneth over..."
I mute the story.
And then my soul is restored.
Then the abundance of blessings comes along.
My cup runneth over.
I am so grateful for the overflow of LOVE!

Day Four: The Sheperd

Tues Jan 3
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." PS 23

The shepherding  quality of Love, is always leading and comforting.
This prayer has been embed in my heart.
I am so grateful for the shepherd!

Day Three: Celebration

Mon Jan 2nd
"I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised:
He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me."
Psalms
There is a sense of joy in the air, a sense of celebration for something good to come.
The hope for something better.
I am grateful for hope. I am grateful for celebration!

Day Two: Multiple Blessings

Sun Jan 1st

"In blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore;" Gen 22:18
The first of the year. A new promise. A new blessing.
I am grateful for everything NEW!
